Imagine Cafe, founded by duo architects, Ritwik and Vidhi, finally decided to take charge and change the vegan scene in Mumbai when they’ve had enough of Chinese and french fries! They have curated a beautiful menu with a mixture of Mexican, Italian, Indian and more with refreshing cold/hot beverages to satisfy everyone’s taste buds, minus the guilt! The ambiance is so pretty, they a compact vertical garden on their wall, the colour combination brings out a certain liveliness without being too bright on your eyes, the space feels so cozy, minimalistic and elegant. An amazing job done in creating this pretty cafe! π
I’ve visited this restaurant almost every time I visit my parents and believe me, I am blown away every single time! It’s THAT good! The best part about their food is that they are flavorful even if they don’t exactly replicate like non vegan products (their version is so much better anyway). π
The first time I visited was on my mother’s birthday and I had planned on taking my parents there. This was in June, so I think they had just started off and they had a special menu of a full meal just for 600₹, which is pretty good deal! It was 3 of us and we were so full with this meal that we couldn’t order anything else and just ended the faboulicious dine out with beverages.. Oh yes, And a birthday cake! Another wonderful creation by Imagine Cafe. The cake was soft, moist yet firm and so chocolaty!! Believe me, I’m drooling whilst typing. (P.S this is not a sponsored review, this is 100% honest review because of the worthy food that they serve! )

The second time I visited, was to pick up their vegan cheese and have a quick bite, because why not?! I had a one pot meal ‘Tater Tot Nachos’ and believe you me, when I say, this is the real deal! The taste of kidney beans, fried potatoes, cheese sauce and all the other flavorful ingredients filled my tummy with yumminess. It was a complete meal pack (and sitting there I was wondering, I'll order few more dishes π) it took me an hour to finish it all by myself. It was so filling that I was not even hungry until late night and after 4 hours of travelling.
Of course, I still managed to gulp down a Chocolate Oreo Milkshake which was a 'spot on' with the texture and the creaminess! I would've preferred it a little more sweet and a little more in quantity but I still enjoyed the mildness mixture of Oreo and chocolate, none of them overpowered each other, hence got to enjoy flavor! ππ

The third time I visited there was with a non vegan friend and interestingly enough, he was eager to try the vegan food and so was I. We started with Mozzarella cheese sticks (of course), Spaghetti Pasta (Tomato sauce, zucchini, bell peppers, unmutton), Lemon and watermelon drink, Blueberry Cheesecake! ππ He loved the food, amazed with the Mozzarella cheese sticks and claimed that the unmutton (mock meat) was really close to the animal based product. We loved the over all taste and said that it was a positive and different experience from the day-to-day food that he eats.
It was filling but it didn't feel too heavy, although was just a bit disappointed with the quantity that came with the pricing.
He loved Mozzarella cheese sticks so much, he said he would visit again soon!! ππ I loved all of it and the cheesecake was a perfect end to the meal! π
